Making Plant Containers from Recycled Materials
We are very pleased to announce that the winner of our competition is
Mrs Bland's Infant and Nursery School from Reading, Berkshire.
Mrs Bland's School Gardening Club (Year 2) put a lot of effort and enthusiasm into their entry for "Making Plant Containers from Recycled Materials". Please see our "GOING GREEN/RECYCLING" PAGES for further details on how they made a fantastic planter out of an old picnic basket, margarine tubs and other recycled household items.
Your prizes (gardening tools, gloves, seeds) are on their way to you!

Important Announcement
It is with sadness and regret that we have come to the decision to close our Bumblebee Shop.
Despite offering schools and the general public reasonable prices, special offers and free delivery, we have not achieved enough sales to keep the shop operating.
Unfortunately, schools will no longer be able to enjoy the benefits of shop discounts and special offers, but in our Schools section, information on grants, classroom activities etc. / information is still available.
Our website will be continue to be active and hopefully inspire some of you to "get outdoors into the fresh air". We will strive to update it frequently, and let you know of any news, schools information and other charity features.
